Amidst the rubbish of my average writing, every so-often a lyric comes about that is so honest, it feels as if I'm pulling the truth out of myself with an invisible thread. I couldn't think of a name for this song, so I looked up how many psalms there are in the bible. WikiAnswers told me there are 150, so I called this Psalm 151.
lyrics
I’ve got my problems with everyone
Don’t you understand?
With my mom and my dad
And all my best friends
I’ll put myself together
Just to prove that I can
And I’ll tear myself apart
With my own two hands
I don’t have any brothers
By flesh or by blood
I’ve been so turned around
I forgot who I was
I’ve been tumbling and rambling
For so many miles
I hope that someday I’ll find
Someone to walk through life with for a while
Maybe someday I’ll get my courage again
Or just something I need if I ask my old man
I might go to jail like a priest on a mission
Good God Mom I hope I never go to prison
I may talk and I may not listen
Maybe I’ll never know what I’m missing
I’ve been tumbling and rambling
For so many miles
I hope that someday I’ll find
Someone to walk through life with for a while
Maybe someday I’ll find a religion
That makes something good out of all this hard living
And before I die I hope that I find
Someone to walk through life with for a while
